The 2023 Friday Night Live Youth Summit brought together thousands of students from across California for one of the state's largest youth leadership conferences. Centered around the theme Limitless, the event encouraged participants to explore leadership, advocacy, mental health, and substance use prevention through workshops, speakers, and collaborative activities.
Starting with only the concept of a space-themed event, I developed the complete visual identity, including the logo, typography, color palette, graphic system, and supporting illustrations. The identity was then applied across publications, environmental graphics, wayfinding signage, attendee badges, apparel, stickers, and event collateral to create a cohesive conference experience.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the project was collaborating directly with student attendees. Student-created sketches were transformed into custom vector illustrations and stickers that became part of the event's visual identity, allowing participants to see their own creativity reflected throughout the conference experience.
Booklet Design
Designed a comprehensive event guide containing schedules, workshop information, speaker details, resources, and planning materials used by attendees throughout the summit.
Wayfinding, Badges & T-Shirt
Developed a complete environmental graphics system for the convention venue, including directional signage, session identification, welcome displays, attendee badges, apparel, and supporting event materials. Consistent branding across all touchpoints helped attendees navigate the conference while reinforcing the event theme.
