During my contract with Robert Half, I worked on the development and launch of the 2022 Salary Guide, helping transform one of the company's most recognized resources from a traditional print publication into an interactive digital experience. My involvement spanned the entire project lifecycle, including wireframing, stakeholder collaboration, UX design, user acceptance testing, and launch preparation.
The project required close collaboration between designers, developers, copywriters, product stakeholders, and business leaders to create a user-friendly experience capable of presenting complex salary and employment data in a clear and accessible way.
Meet the 2022 Salary Guide
One of the key goals of the project was making compensation data more relevant and actionable for users. Features such as the Salary Calculator and Localize Your Insights allowed visitors to customize information based on location, creating a more personalized experience.
Each industry page includes a Localize Your Insights feature that allows users to customize salary data based on their location. By selecting a city, visitors can view compensation information adjusted for regional cost of living, talent availability, and other market factors, creating a more personalized experience.
Because the Salary Guide contains a significant amount of salary, hiring, and workforce data, a major focus of the design was improving readability and navigation. Visual hierarchy, iconography, charts, and interactive elements were used throughout the experience to make complex information easier to understand and explore.
