Publications hold a special place in my heart. I live for the challenge of unraveling the intricacies of copy and numbers, weaving them into a visually stunning publication that strikes the perfect balance between information and aesthetic appeal.
The Network Event Program | The Ag Center
During my tenure at Centered Marketing, I played a pivotal role in developing the event program for "The Network 2022," a prominent networking event in Fresno, California catering to farmers and professionals in the agricultural industry. My responsibilities encompassed the entire program assembly and design of advertisements, with a notable achievement of designing 95% of the full-page ads.
The most significant challenge I encountered was crafting the ads to ensure each possessed a unique and distinctive appearance, ensuring they stood out individually rather than blending into a uniform style.
2019-2020 Economic Development Scorecard | County of Los Angeles
During my tenure as a designer at Bacío Design and Marketing, I had the opportunity to contribute to the County of Los Angeles Economic Development Scorecard project. One of the major challenges involved managing a substantial amount of graphs and statistics, ensuring they were not only visually appealing but also easily comprehensible for a wide audience, avoiding any potential confusion.
2020 Year in Review | Cal Tech's Division of The Humanities and Social Sciences
For Cal Tech's Division of The Humanities and Social Sciences 2020 in Review, our aim was to maintain the institution's trademark elegance while highlighting the dual realities pre and post-COVID. Featuring a split-screen design on the front page, juxtaposing lectures before and during the pandemic, we captured the evolution of academia amidst changing circumstances, preserving Cal Tech's clean aesthetic while reflecting the challenges and adaptations of the past year.
